How a long move is planned
The details matter more on a long move than a local one, because the load has to travel for hours without shifting. Tell us what is moving, or send photos of the rooms, and we size the vans from that, wrap everything soft in blankets and stretch wrap, export wrap the furniture that would mark on a long journey, and load in an order that survives motorway miles. A move to the south coast or Scotland can take two days: load and travel on day one, unload on day two, with any overnight named in the quote.

Packing and storage for the journey
A full pack suits a long move, because the boxes are on the van for a long time and packed properly they travel better. Valuable pieces (an upright piano, antiques, artwork, glass) can be export wrapped. If the new house is not ready, the load goes into our storage on the way and comes out for the delivery day.
